Design

There is so much that can be done with wood and stone.

Start with creativity and artistic flair, execute the design with energy and skill, and the results can be simple, architectural, elegant, welcoming, organic, beautiful, fun...

Project Steps:

  • Design & Estimate.
  • Locate & Dig.
  • Build.

Digging:

Guelph has rocky soil and hard loam, hence the time to dig is the biggest unknown for projects.

Stone Wall

Wall on Hillside

Adding a retaining wall to prevent erosion next to house.

Dry-fit Stone

    I used dry-fit natural stones for this retaining wall because:
  1. the natural stone would look less industrial, and;
  2. less impacted by frost.
